I've been married to my spouse for almost a year. Before getting married we dated for over a year and during that time we were trying to wait until marriage to have sex. We also did not live together until marriage. We did other things but only had sex once, there WAS sexual chemistry. Since we've been married and moved in together I have lost all interest in being intimate. The biggest factors of this are hygiene issues. Since we started living together I've realized my spouse doesn't wash their hands, like ever. They also don't shower very often, which I feel is a newer development. They are also always picking at themselves whether it's their ears, nose, dry skin or finger nails... and knowing they don't wash their hands makes me feel ill when I think about them touching me. We have had a conversation where I mentioned the hand washing and it seemed to sporadically improve it but not enough to make a difference. I have finally resigned myself to the idea that we just might never be intimate again, ever. Does that make me an AH?
