My wife (33F) asked me (35M) that she should be the one driving my Hyundai Santa Fe that I worked hard to get with my money because it is more spacious than her Hyundai Tucson.

I told her no.

She reasoned that she will be better with the more spacious vehicle since she is the main person that drives our kids around and goes on activities with them. My wife is effectively a stay at home mom that only works on the weekends. And honestly I don't think that's a bad reason tbh.

Mind you her Tucson is an SUV as well as the Santa Fe, but it is a fact that the Santa Fe is more spacious than the Tucson.

Regardless I told her no. I feel that it is unfair that I worked and saved for that vehicle to just hand it over, plus the Santa Fe has a couple of features that I like that the Tucson does not have.

So am I the asshole?
