I feel bad I’ve texted him about it but he says it’s fine, however before he left he did say that “it’s cool, since nobody wants to watch a movie with me.” My brother and I have gone through similar struggles with our depression and whatnot and I can tell he’s not in his right mind sorta, he’s been kind of losing himself in the alcohol. I mean same as me but I am more private about it. For context, this morning he dropped me off at work at 7:30 in the morning, very generous of him, and I thanked him for it dearly since I did only wake him up probably half an hour before frantically since uber demand price gouged my ride. After a 7:30 to 3 he picks me up and drops me back home, again, generous, yet something we do often since I don’t have my license yet. After a rather crazy day at work at the deli I was super exhausted and ready to grind out a game for a few and lay down to read. When I hear from across the house “I found it! A movie I can watch in the theatre.” (it was warfare btw) I’m tired after today and I just sorta wanted to rest and didn’t really want my day uprooted so quickly without a plan. So I said no. Am I the asshole or am I overthinking?
