My partner and I got engaged last year, but until now, we haven’t made any plans for the wedding. We can’t even agree on a month — he wants it to happen within a few months, while I prefer next year. His reason is that next year feels too far off, but for me, I’m really busy with work and I want to travel and enjoy life a bit before settling down, which makes it hard for me to plan properly.

Another issue is that he keeps changing his mind and doesn’t really consider my suggestions, so I’ve stopped initiating any planning or even bringing up the topic unless he does. I also feel like I can’t rely on his decisions because they’re not consistent. On top of that, it seems like he doesn’t have any plans for what comes after the wedding. I keep wondering — what’s next? What happens to our life after that? It feels like he has no clear goals and is just going with the flow.

Am I wrong for feeling uncertain or hesitant because of all these things?
