So my gfs dog also doesn’t like me. When my gf (F25) and I (F26) met at the dog park a year ago and started dating, he seemed more tame. He is a 90 lb can corso mix that is horribly trained. He is ill behaved on a leash (will go after another dog to bite them), goes after my dog, like bites at her neck and feet, (we live together) for just being excited, bites me in the hands/arms constantly when I’m just walking around the house, tears all kind of stuff up, pushes me out of the way if I’m just standing there and just whines constantly. I can’t have any friends over because he will nip/bite at their hands and arms. Any friend of mine he has met they don’t like the dog either. I have cats at the house and they run from him too when he chases them. I have told my gf how he causes me a lot of stress and she acknowledges but doesn’t do anything about it. She is in medic school and works full time so she says she will train him more in the summer when she graduates, but it’s so hard to come home from work to this terror of a dog.

I know it’s not the dog I dislike so much as I dislike my gfs lack of training. I’m probably just placing this dislike on him so I don’t have to face that my gf has bad training/social awareness skills.

Anyway, AITHA for not liking my gfs dog? Should I just move out so I have more peace at home or stick it out?
