We’ve all been here: you’re walking up to glass double doors, someone on the other side is also approaching. It’s clear you’ll arrive at the same time as each other.
Inevitably (almost always) the person on the other side stops to wait for me to go through the doors first cause they see i’m not stopping to let THEM go first. The thing is, I dont need to stop, and neither does the other person, cause guess what—there’s space for both of us, there’s TWO doors, you can come in one door while i go out the other.
However, most ppl stop, wait for me to go through and kinda look perturbed like I was inconsiderate/selfish to go first.
Nope. Just aware that unless you were featured on “My 600lbs life”, theres space for both of us. AITAH for disobeying this social convention?
