So where I live, there's as many people with knives as people with phones. I was at a party whilst my girl was working so I'd had a decent amount to drink. We both finished at midnight and I decided I was hungry, we sit down in a wingstop and two girls and two lads walk in, the lads have balaclavas on and are clearly on something as they are easily irritated. One of the lads starts getting angry at a girl for kissing 3 guys in one night (he didn't know her before tonight) so my girlfriend says "are you okay is he bothering you?" To this the lad turns around and starts shouting at her at which point I intervene and tell him to relax, he then proceeds to yell and threaten me and my girlfriend calling her all sorts of things. I was angry but knowing the likelihood he had a knife was high, I managed to talk him down a little by letting him get it all out of his system, at this point his friend shouts at me and my girl, picks up a bar stool as to throw it, drops it on the floor and they both leave. I suggested the girls leave and go home, called the police and reported the lads. My girlfriend was saying she wished somebody had stuck up for her but I felt as though because I was tipsy from the drinking, I wasn't in a good enough physical state to have to fight to lads who possibly wouldn't feel getting hit because of the drugs they were on. I was just glad I didn't get arrested for assault, nobody was stabbed or hit, just a few harsh words exchanged. I feel terrible and wish I'd have tried to fight them or something, sorry for droning on I never vent in times like this but I just need other peoples opinions.
