Hi I 38f have a brother 36m who is a car crash ! For as long as I can remember he has been irresponsible with money and just in general, gets himself into all kids of bad situations and is constantly being bailed out by our parents. They have helped him start a buisness he destroyed that, bought him cars, payed debts and jump to his defense all the time. He makes promises to them and they always fall through. He starts jobs to help them and leaves them unfinished as in house upside down half decorated or takes obscene amounts of time to do them months. Me I have learned my lesson with him and keep a distance although he still tries to borrow money or needs a favour. He has lied, stolen caused so many arguments between me and our parents i have lost count, ignored my existence unless he can gain from it. I have just found out he has taken a mobile contract out in my maiden name and not payed it. It is linked to my address and phone number aswel as being sent to my parents address for delivery and having my mums number linked and dad's email all connected with this contract. (Not my bank details).I have been told through this company to start a fraud case and he could be arrested i told them I would try to sort it first for the sake of my parents. When discussing this massive betrayal with my mum I said I no longer wanted anything to do with my brother I'm going no contract. I also said I do not want my 8 year old to be around him he showed no interest in him until he met his new partner ! He missed his birthday not even a card although he had txt he would give him his gift when he seen him ! (That did not happen). When I said this I was now the bad guy and using my child as a weapon according to my mother!! So pleased tell me AITAH?
