So it’s not official yet but he took her to his home country (England) for 2 weeks and is most likely proposing (my mom told me.) he’s even planning on selling his house and moving in with her. My parents have only been divorced for 1 year officially but separated for 2. They never had a great relationship and the divorce was messy and traumatic. I only processed the fact they are now different people and they have new lives now and they don’t love each other and now he’s probably getting married to this woman. She doesn’t like me because I had severe depression and had attempted suicide multiple times and it put stress on my dad. My dad has started changing, like a lot. He’s always made a lot of money but I’ve never seen him really flaunt it until now. He’s going to Aruba all the time and Vegas, talking about buying a house there with his girlfriend, gambling for the fun of it and doing all this fun stuff. He even bought a fun car. I’m 18 and I’m going to community college to get my aas in cybersecurity + certifications so I won’t really have much time to work and where I live it’s almost impossible to get an apartment even making 20/hour and working 40 hours a week. I just don’t like the fact he’s choosing this woman he’s known for 1.5 years over me and my brother, who he literally made. She doesn’t like me because of a stupid thing like depression, it feels like she’s taking my dad away from me. AITAH for being upset? I’m contemplating on talking to him about it
