So it'll be me birthday soon, it's not a special one I'm turning 26, and just wanted to get together with all my friends and go out. I invited a boy I like that my friend swears up and down that she's not interested in. The other night at a party this guy brought a friend that the 2 of them thought could be "a good match" for me. I found this weird since I've voiced I liked the guy to my female friend, but none the less the guy they where trying to set me up with came and was desperately hitting on me. He had apparently just gotten out of a relationship as well. I am currently not looking for a relationship and definitely don't want him hanging on me all night on my birthday but they said they're bringing him. I'm offended that they would even think this guy would be a good match for me. Am I the a$$ hole for not even giving this guy a chance and uninviting him when he's in a hard spot in life.
