So it's Saturday, I'm (F40) dead tired as I have been up with my youngest (2F) monitoring her fever throughout the night, luckily it is better today. My partner (M41) is currently taking a nap. I wanted to take a nap and I told him this. I have serious issues with having both of us taking a nap as our oldest (6F) doesn't take naps any more, and I also crew up in a home with alcoholic parents, and having both parents passed out and us siblings vending for ourselves is a major trigger for me. I simply can not allow myself to take a nap knowing one of my children will be alone. My partner who knows this simply doesn't care and scoffs at me when I said I wanted to take a nap, but I couldn't as he took a nap.
