My bf (18) and I (17) have been dating for a little over 8 months, when we were first talking, he mentioned he smoked pot and so did his family, I’m not one to judge, but I told him I just didn’t want to be around it. Not too much to ask? Every time I’m over he either has smoked before, or with me, either a bowl or from his pen. I’ve talked to him about quitting or at least chilling out on it but I’m not gonna force him to quit, that’s not who I am.. I’m just more or so frustrated that I constantly go home smelling like cigarettes and pot. His friends smoke too, so every time I’m hanging out it’s always ‘wanna hit a bowl’ or ‘wanna smoke a little’. And pot isn’t cheap, I feel like he could be using his money on other things because he loves boats and cars and mentioned getting a project car. I’m all in for it, just he spends it all on pot. I’m tired of being around it because it gives me headaches. How do I tell him? I don’t want to break up, I love him, but I’m scared it’s not gonna change and I don’t wanna be around that. We grew up two very different ways, I don’t smoke or drink, none of that. Idk what to do anymore, any advice?
