Okay so I(19f)go to college with my mom(early 40s) and we have a few classes together, most of the assignment that we get specifically homework she asks for help and when i try to help and quide her through it, she's like she's like "i don't know how to work this" this includes like technology in terms of her copy pasting and stuff, so i show her how to, but then yet she's like she still can't do it, so i end up doing it for her. Everytime it's something like that and 100% of the time, I'm doing her work for her (including mine). So lately whenever she's asks do her work for her I say no cause I tell her I've already showed her how to multiple times or it's either she starts paying me (i said this as a joke)and then she's like she still needs help. And even with that I end up doing it all again.And the thing is, each time I do it she's ungrateful and she goes "so you can do all this, and when ask you to help, you don't want to" then i tell her well I've showed you how to multiple times but she takes it for granted and doesn't want to go out of her way to learn, and even while I'm like doing it trying to show her, she goes on her phone scrolling on social media. Then she tells me well "what about it if i do her work for her" which is kinda rude cause just because its like just because I'm her daughter I should have no boundaries. And it's her basically saying "Your labor is expected and unconditional, but mine is transactional." And i understand that she works to provide for me too because i don't work, except in the summer that i do. And also i wanted to get a job during even when i was in Highschool, but she didn't let me cause she said she wants me to focus on my education. So i just work in the summer. So today she asked if I'm gonna do her response paper which we have for a class we're in together, and I said no unless she pays me, and she said if I charge her and she pays me, then I shouldn't ask her for anything anymore and she won't provide for me. And i haven't really said anything,cause I've decided I'm not gonna do it for her at the of day. Just to see the outcome. So I just wanted to know if I'm an asshole for that?
