I (F16) have been living with my mom (F34) for all my life. I've lived with my whole family before but it was just myself, my mom, my grandma, my aunt and my cousin. That living situation happened when I was around 5-7 until we all moved out and lived our lives. Now we all still live separately but recently my mom has been talking about moving in with my aunt since it would be cheaper. I'm going to college soon as a early graduate and so I won't be at home as often as they usually would. I told my mom I wouldn't like to live with them just because it would be very problematic for me to live with two toddlers and a tween as they could mess up a lot my school related stuff and I wouldn't feel comfortable sharing a room with children I don't get along with. Now here's where I might be the ah my mom said that my actions are selfish and I should want her to want to spend less money and save to which I responded that's not really my problem and u can continue to go through with your plan I'll just have to find another living arrangement with my grandma. My aunt is calling me ungrateful and my mom say it's not that big of a deal. AITAH?
