My partner(28f) brought up the idea of moving in together the other day to me (24m) for context clues we already live in an apartment together but this would be a house. I’m very hesitant of the idea only due to the fact the offer of renting a house came from her ex wife. When we first got together we both relayed that we were still friends with our past partners and we both agreed that it was okay for both of us so we had no issues with it. Honestly up to this point there’s been no issues for me with her being so close to her ex..until she offered to rent her house to us. I initially said no that i wasn’t comfortable living where they had previously lived in a marriage and i’m not comfortable with it still, but she is so excited to move out of our apartment and i’ve told her that i wasn’t ready yet. We’ve discussed the idea multiple times and i’m still on edge about it. She doesn’t like the fact that i’m not open to it and makes me feel like i don’t appreciate things we have or she says i’m the asshole for not giving it a chance. I want to move with her just not to that location I want a new chapter for the both of us but she’s so insistent on it being there and now. So i’m kinda lost am i the asshole?
