📝 AITAH for not wanting to pay my friend for dinner?

Every Friday my friends and I have a girls night where we eat dinner and watch movies. We used to get takeout but I suggested we start making our own dinner so that we eat healthier and don’t spend as much. One of my friends offered to make dinner for us and I really appreciate all the effort she puts in to do this.

The problem is, I think it might be more expensive than takeout and I am starting to get frustrated. My friend will Venmo request me for my share of the ingredients and recently it has gotten up to $25 for the one meal each week. She also always has a bunch leftover and I don’t take any of it home since it’s never offered.

Would it be rude to say that I don’t think the price is fair or even just reasonable to me? I don’t make a lot of money and this is too much for me to be spending each month on dinner.
