I'm 21M and I recently went on a date with a 29M.

We met on a dating app. We talked maybe 3 weeks before meeting in person.

The reason we didn't meet earlier was mostly due to scheduling conflict.

We agreed to go for a walk and make up plans as we go. Our apartments were both walking distance from each other.

Eventually, we ended up at a park.

29M brought with him a flask and encouraged me to have a drink.

I declined.

Conversation moved along, and it was when he asked a third time that he seemed to be developing an attitude about it. He told me to live a little and forget about my abs. I made a joke that what he's doing is not cute and in fact, makes me want to take him up on the offer even less. I softened it by adding that he should enjoy himself. I'll make sure to take care of him. He didn't like that lol.

The rest of the date fizzled due to his souring mood. I noticed he didn't drink from his flask (not even once, which is weird right? or am I overthinking it). He eventually told me he doesn't think we're vibing and I agreed - we cut our date short. He disappeared from the app.

I am somewhat risk averse. What would you have done in my shoes?
