So I live with my brother and a friend and with their permission I got a dog. My dog used to have a shoe chewing problem, this was solved by spraying vinegar and sour spray on the shoes. Now my dog hasn't done this for 4-5 months and when I came home I noticed that he had chewed my brothers boots and tore them a good bit. It should be noted that my brother left the shoes on the ground next to the shoe rack that if placed on there would have lifted them about a foot off the ground. I also have a pare of boots on that rack made of similar materials, but also different (his are cowboy boots mine are city boots). We also still have all the same preventions that we used to break this habit and I still use them on my stiff like once every month, but he doesn't. So... Would I be the ass hole if I stand firm on not paying for a completly new pair of boots, but instead making it where he only has to pay like $40 (his boots were $190)
