I was recently hired to dog sit two dogs for a week. This was my first experience with these particular dogs. Throughout the week, they have: bruised me, scratched me, bitten me, broken glass, destroyed items around the house, gotten into fights with each other, etc. The owner did not warn me that this was their first time being away from them. I don’t want to overstep, but in my opinion, I was not paid nearly enough for what I have had to deal with. Is it fair to sit down with the owner when they return and request more money?
