disclaimer: I have NEVER let anyone's skin color affect the way I've thought of them negatively. if you are black, white, asian, hispanic, etc, I think you're great. not to mention, I am friends with all of the ethnicities I just mentioned. I have nothing against anybody.

for starters, I'm white. like dirty blonde hair and blue eyes, white. I also play AAU basketball, and this weekend we had a tournament and we got CLOBBERED by a team, 12-67.

with that being said, all of the players on that team were black. the coaches were black. the referees were black. my team consists of complete white girls. anyway, like i was saying, i have noticed that throughout all of the years I've played sports, (most) of the black people I've played against tend to be fast, quick, aggressive athletes.

anyway, one of my teachers (who is white) asked us how our weekend was and I told her, we had a tournament and we were clobbered by a team "and they were black, so they were fast." she got PISSED. she kept asking me what I meant by that or if I knew wether or not it was rude. I didn't think i was being rude. I meant it in a good light. there are no black kids in that class. there are like 2 Hispanic girls and a boy who is Chinese, and that's it. everyone is white. I didn't realize she'd get THAT upset.

I'm here to ask, am I in the wrong? do you think she would've gotten as upset if the roles were reversed (if I was black and the team was white)? am I the asshole?
