📝 AITAH for skipping my sister's Wedding

My sister and I live on opposite sides of the country. I'm married, have 2 kids, work full time and care for my elderly grandfather. Money has been tight. I was excited to plan a family trip to go to the wedding and explore the area (i haven't been before). She kept changing the plans and the date. Then she decided to elope at the courthouse. I offered to fly out for the weekend to be the witness and she said no. They were gonna be just the 2 of them. I was a little hurt she didn't want me there but understood it's her day to what she wants. I booked a non refundable and totally needed family vacation for the fall and have been saving any extra money for that. Then a few months ago she changed plans again. After the courthouse she is going to throw a backyard reception at her new house. And everyone's invited. It's Spring break weekend. Flights are crazy expensive! No way for the whole family to go. I would have to put the whole trip on a credit card and I would miss Easter with my kids. My brothers job wouldn't approve his pto so he isn't going either. My dad is giving us a guilt trip about not going. I feel horrible but my husband said it's my sister's fault for telling me not to come and changing her mind. Is it my "duty" as a sister to be there?
