I (30F) am married to my husband (32m) and we have a great relationship, get along well, best friend type of stuff. However, there are some issues and I don't know if I am overreacting or is it justified. He rarely takes responsibility for things that are "wrong" or broken. Example: This morning he noticed that one of the kitchen windows was slightly open, which means it was left open all night. Not a huge deal, except the electric bill has been ridiculously high lately and this doesn't help. He asked me if I had shut the heat/ AC off because the window was open. I said no, and was confused because I hadn't opened the window this morning. Okay so, last night when he came home, he shut all the windows in the house and closed the blinds, AND turned the AC on. It's hot where we are. So he went off on me about how he has to make sure I lock the doors at night and close the windows, which I do. So I said to him, I didn't know it was open, you shut the windows last night. And he stormed off to work. AITAH because I told him he was the one that left it open? This isn't the first time something like this has happened where he blames me for it when he was clearly the one to make the mistake.
