Hi, I just want to share my story and ask for some advice. I’m (18F) , and I’ve been in relationship with my boyfriend for over a year now. There’s a significant age gap between us he’s (35M). We met through Messenger, and we’ve only been talking there. He’s using fake account, no pictures, and not even his real name. We’ve never gone out on actual dates in public because he says he’s afraid he might get caught by the police for some reason, suggesting that he could be accused of something like child abuse. I’ve always reassured him that he’s safe with me and that no one needs to know about our relationship. But what’s confusing me is that he refuses to send any pictures, won’t call or even video chat. His usual excuses are that he’s busy, asleep, or using Chrome. He only ever sends me “Good morning” and “Good night” texts, and then when we plan to meet up (for intimacy), he’s suddenly super sweet and always replies quickly. But after we meet and I go home, he goes cold again. It sometimes takes him hours to reply, and it’s starting to feel like a one-sided thing. I’ve asked him a few times if he’s married, and he always denies it. He says that once I turn 18, we’ll get married, but I can’t help but feel something’s off. My gut tells me there might be something he’s hiding, and i’m starting to wonder if he’s actually married. I’m really in love with him, and he tells me that I’m the one who has ever lived him this way. I’m just really confused because I don’t know what to believe anymore I’m ready to break up with him if turns out he’s married. I know I might be acting naive by staying in this situation without being sure, but I live him, and i want to know if my concerns are valid.
