I have been with my girlfriend for two years. We get along well and she is smart and kind.

She expects me to go to every family gathering, and every work event. She has a huge family and there seems to be a few birthdays or gathering almost every weekend that she wants me to attend.

We are still in our 20s and it's not like we are married or have been together for 10 years. I run my own business and have a big property to take care of.

After doing all the book work for my business, taking care of my property, and attending all my girlfriends events, I maybe get 2 hours free on Sunday evening. I haven't focused on my hobbies, or hung out with my friends in almost a year and feel like I'm going to go insane.

I recently told my girlfriend I'm going to only attend her very important events, and try to only go to one a month so I have more time for my own hobbies. She got extremely upset and said her stuff is very important to her and expects me to be more supportive.
