I (20) F and my boyfriend (23)M have been in a relationship for 7 months now and known each other for a year. We met on a dating app and during that time I was talking to my friend (20) M that I’ve known for 2 years (we were FWB) after I met my boyfriend he immediately started thinking we were in a talking stage but I didn’t (I recently realized that) a week before we got into a relationship he asked me to block that friend since he knew we had a sexual past and I did out of respect even tho that friend was a close person to me not including the sexual part. Recently me and that friend reconnected and have been friends ever since but my boyfriend doesn’t know about it. I’m aware that it seems like cheating but we haven’t been sexual at all and just two friends simply talking but it feels wrong and I don’t know what to do. Part of me doesn’t want to end the friendship again because my boyfriend is emotionally manipulating me into staying but I’m thinking of breaking up with him soon.
