I’m M32 and I have a seven year old son.

I follow my acquaintance on instagram and I sometimes see him when I’m hanging out with my friends. He follows me back. The last time I saw him was at my friend’s kid’s birthday party. I brought my son with me too. My acquaintance likes interacting with kids more than he likes interacting with adults. I heard he likes to tell kids about his stories of trauma. He was having a fun time with all the kids including my son. FYI, he’s a drug addict that likes to post random things on social media and does weird things from time to time.

Yesterday, he posted pictures of my son that were taken from my own private instagram page. He caption the picture, “my favorite little person.” It made me uncomfortable. I didn’t comment on the post because I didn’t want to embarrass him, so I dmed him to take the pictures down. He asked me if I’m jealous or something.

Am I the asshole? Am I the asshole for posting pictures of my son on my private instagram page in the first place? Am I really the asshole for being jealous or something?
