My roommate(30?) just bursted into my safe space (a room my bf(27) and I(23) rent) to scream at me. What do I do?
I am a Stay at home girlfriend and I take care of my bf and I’s chores along with cooking us food and just general stuff. Everything that's ours in shared spaces as well as our own rooms and bathroom are always what I clean. Today my bf didn’t want the rest of his redbull from yesterday so I tipped it upside down into the sink to drain. Having other things to do I left it not thinking it would be a big deal to throw it away at a later time. They leave their dishes sky high in the sink until I eventually have to load them into the dishwasher for them. So I thought it wouldn’t be a big deal if the can was in the sink with 1 butter knife. Well roommates fiance gets home today and sees the redbull and according to him “reems his asshole” (I didn’t hear any screaming or argument from them {{walls are thin}}) and he blames everything on me like I am supposed to be cleaning there entire house for free because I don’t work. (He doesn’t work either {{has a business and maybe completed 3 jobs (small, like a day or twos worth of work each) while we have been here (almost 3 months) and plays video games constantly) I am confused as to why I was screamed at (like top of his lungs) for “not pulling my weight” when I have to load their dishes and take out their trash and take the leftovers they don’t eat out of the fridge because they mold and make the fridge smell disgusting. I am not a hostile person and when this happened (my bf was in the room as well) I just said “do not yell at me” I never instigate anything. We have never had any arguments before and this was never brought up until today at 10pm while I’m folding laundry. I had to repeat myself again before he got more upset and screamed louder. I said it again and he turned around and slammed the door making the photos on the wall shake.
I'm so unsure of what to do. My bf is in the game room talking to him right now and his fiance is locked away in their room. No apology in sight. I'm unsure of what to do so suggestions would be nice.
But AITAH?
