My (55F) partner (61M) has a 14 year old daughter that lives with him full time. Her friend, also 14, likes to spend the night a lot. Sometimes on the weekends, the girls will ask if their boyfriends can spend the night. My partner will always say yes, just make sure the boys sleep in the spare room. My partner’s bedroom is in the basement, so once we go to bed, the kids are all upstairs unsupervised for the rest of the night. Maybe I’m a prude, but this makes me uncomfortable to have a bunch of unsupervised teenage couples upstairs. The part that makes me the most uncomfortable is that I doubt the parent’s of the other teens know that their kids are having sleepovers with their opposite sex friends. AITAH?
