I graduate next month, im very nervous and anxious. I already am not wanting to walk the stage but my parents want me to and its more important to them than me but since I'm doing it anyways might as well have atleast a little control of who I want there right? My father asks me about entry tickets and the dress code and everything and I tell him all the info I have, he then adds "Your grandma wants to come" and I roll my eyes and sigh and he asks me "what's wrong?"

Personally I don't have anything against her other than the fact she literally wants nothing to do with me because of my mom, she never comes around or anything only because she doesn't like my mom. It doesn't mean she can't contact me at all but she never does, no happy birthdays, no "Hey how are you" no anything.

I explain this to my dad and he says "I'm her son, she doesn't contact me either" what am I supposed to tell her when I see her, she hasn't talked to me in years and I've changed so much and I know she's gonna bring up religious stuff and I'm not religous anymore so I don't even know where to begin on the already stressful event.

My dad tells me don't worry about it, that's it's fine and now I feel like an ass, Am I The Asshole?
