My mother bought a beautiful top, but it is an off white color. I told her that it’s a cute top, but not appropriate for a wedding, her response was “it’s cream.” Not sure I feel like arguing today. I thought it was a well known rule to not wear white, or a shade of white, or anything close to white, to a wedding. So irritated.
