Im in a very happy and healthy relationship with my boyfriend, and since its spring break him and his family went out to Las Vegas. Anytime he does anything with them (sports games, trips, etc) he will spend the whole time texting me. As someone who never had a lot of quality time with my family growing up, this made me feel kinda bad for his parents and sister. (All of whom I love very much) So the other day he left to go Vegas with them for a week, and ever since he got there he has been texting me everywhere, and I never responded because I want him to enjoy time with his family, not on his phone with me. (We talk and text a LOT and we call and spend time together almost any chance we get.) And the next day he was upset I was “ignoring him.” so I responded to him, and told him why I wasnt answering him. I said “we talk all the time, I want you to enjoy time with your family, not with me right now. We can talk as much as you want when you get back but right now I want you to enjoy your vacation.” and he said “I havent been enjoying my vacation since you stopped talking to me.” so I apologized and went back to not responding. AITAH?
