My 26 y/o bf games every single day from the moment he’s done with class until 10:30-11pm at night. Last week he told me we’d do something and can go on a date, but today Saturday morning his friends call him, text him to get on the game and he immediately is down to go. My issue is whenever I want to make plans and spend quality time together the GAME is always in the way. Its always a hassle to go do something, but it is absolutely no problem to spend 5-8 hours on a video game. It is so frustrating to me because I have been so understanding and trying to be supportive of him enjoying his games and doing what he loves but it comes to a point where I feel like i’m constantly being let down and put last between a literal VIDEO GAME. I talked to him about it this morning and he’s like “I can’t do what I want” which is such a slap in my face because he is ALWAYS on his video game. There is legitimately not a single day he does not play and its TOOOOO much to ask for 1 day of uninterrupted time together without his video game. His friends text him all the time to get on if he’s not on, I want just a time where he’s like “no im spending time with my girlfriend” am I crazy??? I’m 24 F btw
