My cat died and my family decided to burry her. My family are very hardcore Muslims and believe that cremation for any living things haram. Im an atheist and wanted to have my cat cremated so i can always have her (ashes) with me wherever i end up going later on in life. My family consideres her as a family cat but ive always been the only one taking care of her her whole life. When she passed i booked an appointment to have her cremated but my brother threatened me to cancel it and if i dont he would burn the cat with me instead. Its been 4 days since she passed but i still want to go through with it. My plan is to dig her up while no ones home and have her cremated without them knowing. AITAH for wanting to do this despite what my family wants?
