my current landlord literally spawned into my life less than a year ago which was a time when i really did need help bc i was suddenly at risk for homelessness due to some bs at my last place and just dealing with a lot of mid 20s bullshit lol

knowing my situation, he still trusted in me and really did help me out and probably saved me from sleeping in my car and having to go to the gym to shower lol

current situation as of today:

well, as the beginning of the month nears, i asked if i could send him the rent for may in like 3 lump sums before the end of april. during this convo, he reminded me that we did still owe the pet fee.

i have had my dog for 3 years and told him i have never had to pay this pet fee anywhere i’ve lived since then because he is registered as my ESA

…to this, he responded that he could reduce the pet fee & did so from $300 to $250.

wtf?? I don’t want to be TAH but like, isn’t that technically illegal on his part????

I hate confrontation, especially to someone who has to this point been nothing but good to me, but likeee fuckkkkkkk
