I'm incredibly upset.

My parents have decided to move out of state. No specific politics behind it, they want to live closer to my sister.

But I'm pissed. I'm pissed because they have been huge advocates with local laws that have destroyed programs that they had taken advantage of in our childhood to help us rise out of poverty. They've advocated for laws that has closed my job, left me without income and prospects and also now no programs to reach out to for help because they had those closed down. They've voted to remove certain assistance that would have made certain my son had help getting to local colleges which we had planned to use. Now he's a senior and they're gone.

I feel like my parents votes and constant campaign advocacy, making calls and hitting the streets, had actively ruined my life and the life of thousands more locally. Because the thought they wanted their city to be better. And now that they've hit, they're leaving.
