I 30/M has a brother 29/M who' does this thing where he "buys love" he does this with whoever he's falling for at the moment. The person he's pursuing can tell him 101 times that they don't want a relationship, it's nothing more between them then a friendship and anytime he seems to be falling even deeper, they never fail to remind him that THEY'RE NOT IN A RELATIONSHIP
They Ignore him whenever they feel like it. Goes days without responding to msgs then all of a sudden replies with the lamest excuse of why they ignored him for days. They usually reply around payday, maybe a day or so before and act as if nothing happened. This is a repetitive thing, with this person. With this person's bday coming up my brother is going crazy trying to find the perfect "specific " decorations to throw this person a surprise party that only he and they will attend. (He's not even sure they will show up) I'm very creative, I actually make custom party decor professionally and my brother reached out to me. Complaining about not being able to find the perfect decor and kept hinting around that he wished he could just make them instead of running around town looking.
I politely told him that I will not be helping so please don't ask... I feel this way because I don't agree with his "situationship" with that person who treats him like shxt unless they need something. AITAH for not helping my brother w decorations and set up even though it's literally my job and I know how to make the exact decorations he's wanting because I've done it so many times before.
