A few days ago I sold a bulk lot of 15 old mining GPUs to someone locally for $450 (I got them from my old boss. In the listing, I clearly stated they were used in a mining setup, sold as-is, untested, and intended for parts, repairs, or experienced builders. I also mentioned the buyer was welcome to bring a testing rig before purchasing. He did not. Now he's saying that most of the cards are failing and that one even caught on fire. He messaged me pretty aggressively saying I'm slinging "fire hazards" and wants me to make it right. I've been feeling super guilty about it, but at the same time I was upfront in the post about the condition and risk. Should I offer him a refund? Am I in the wrong here? Genuinely looking for opinions - I don't want to screw anyone over, but I also don't want to be bullied into something unfair.
