I (18F) have been with my boyfriend (19M) for about a month now but we’ve known eachother for 8 years. He’s currently a marine and is currently at his base about 8-9 hours away from me. His roommates and friends he has there aren’t necessarily people that I know myself. He recently was invited to a party that’s off base, meaning it could be in a city that’s particularly popular. It’s not that I don’t trust him, I’ve been cheated on numerous times and I just have that gut feeling in myself that things wouldn’t play out the way he says they will. I don’t necessarily want to make it seem like I’m controlling him but I don’t want him to go. I have a pretty strong grasp of how some may act towards others at parties as they disregard relationship status’s there. I fully trust him and believe he wouldn’t do anything of that sort to me, but then again I’m not so sure how he’d be especially if he decides to drink that night.
