I (23F) live with a roommate (25M) who I thought was a decent guy. We don't hang out a ton but we've always been respectful of each other's space. I have a stuffed rabbit named BunBun that I've had since I was a baby. Yes, I'm fully aware I'm an adult. No, I don't carry it around everywhere or talk to it like it's sentient. But it's incredibly important to me emotionally and helps with my anxiety and sleep.

I went out of town for the weekend and accidentally left BunBun on the couch. When I got back, it was gone. I searched everywhere until my roommate told me he threw it away because he thought I "needed to grow up." He wasn't even apologetic-just said it like he was doing me a favor.

I completely broke down. That stuffed animal has been through everything with me -multiple moves, ho nital stays, panic attacks. It wasn't even Falling apart or anything. I begged him to tell me where he threw it away, but it had already been picked up by the garbage truck.

I told him to move out. He's now telling mutual friends I'm being unreasonable and overreacting. AITA for kicking him out over something "so small"?
