📝 Am I the asshole for cutting off my friend because of a disagreement we had today?

I, (18F), and my (17f) friend got into a disagreement today. For context, my friend was telling me about a guy she was texting and FaceTiming who’s from Florida (we’re in New York) and planning to meet up with if they’re still talking. I’m upset because this guy is not from our city and has never been to our city. She barely knows anything about him and doesn’t know his intentions. She recently just got out of a relationship with her ex-boyfriend who planned to kill her. She got a restraining order and he moved away. I was telling her that it was not a good idea to entertain someone so far away but she insisted it was fine since “others long distance relationships go great”. I’m upset because she knows nothing about this guy and I’m worried if it could be a set up. I’ve heard plenty of stories of women meeting up with guys they found online and getting raped or murdered. Mind you, during her relationship with her ex, she was talking and entertaining her other ex. She constantly angered her ex-boyfriend by comparing her last ex to him. When she told me this, she laughed and smiled. I was uncomfortable by this. I don’t think she understands the full extent of what she does. She wants male attention so bad that she seeks it out in bad ways. I thought about her red flags and promptly cut her. So, am I the asshole in this situation??
