Hey guys. First time on here, and I was hoping for some advice. I won’t say the name on here, due to privacy, but a couple months ago a pizza restaurant hired me to paint a mural for their wall. I’m 25, and getting art jobs where I’m from is very difficult, plus I don’t earn that much from them. The pizzeria offered me quite a bit, and showed me some pizza designs they wanted to be shown. Here’s where it gets tricky. Apparently before I was painting the pizzas, a beautiful mural of two elderly ladies, one black and one white was there before. I didn’t know what the previous mural was, until I posted some of my work on TikTok and some people starting flaming me for it. When I started painting the pizzas it was a blank canvas, and the pizza place didn’t tell me what was there before. Some of these TikTok comments have got to me, so I went on reddit to seek some advice. AITAH?
