Back in August of 2024, I turned (f) 23 and was thrown a birthday party by some of my friends, now, I was introduced to this friend group by Will (all fake names), I’d known Will for 3 years through my ex boyfriend, I also knew his girlfriend Daisy, she and I got along pretty well as far as I was aware, this party consisted of 3 guys and two me girls, however they invited a few of my other close friends who did not know this group on an intimate level, the drinks were flowing and everyone was playing games until around 1:00 am when everyone went home, the moment I got home I got a call from Daisy, screaming something about “you said you’d fuck my boyfriend, I never want you talking to him again, all you did was talk about him all night” I really tried to understand what she was talking about but she ignored my questions and was simply insisted on the fact that I’m not to talk to her boyfriend, she closed the call as I was mid sentence, I cried in my drunken confusion, the next morning I called Sarah, one of my close friends who had come to the party, I was talking to her most of the night and she hadn’t had a lick of alcohol, I asked her whether or not I said I’d fuck Will, she said “no, you said you’d fuck a pizza” that’s when it hit me that at some point in the night, we all grew hungry and ordered pizza, Will said “let’s fuck this pizza uuupp!!” And I said “let’s get fuckkkkeddd” I then asked her whether I talked about Will all night long and she said “no, only when I asked you how you came about meeting this group of friends was he ever mentioned” and she was right… so Reddit, am I the asshole for saying I’d fuck a pizza? I don’t talk to Will or Daisy, and the rest of the guys think Daisy blew things out of proportion, I’d really like some insight tho …
