Tonight my husband and I went to go see a broadway play which is a big deal. It is an hour and a half away and we have to find parking ahead of time and make sure we eat before we get to the show. We got pretty decent seats for what is a hot ticket show these days. During the first half his phone kept buzzing on vibrate and it was noticeable to me so I assume also noticeable to everyone around us. During intermission I asked him three times to put it on do not disturb to which he said nothing. Five minutes after the show starts again his phone vibrates again and he had to manually silence it. On the hour and a half ride back home we argued because he thought I was making a big deal out of nothing and I said I paid good money to get the tickets and I wanted to watch the show in peace. He also kept reciting the lines to me during moments in the play which annoyed me. But by then he was four drinks in and you can't tell him anything by then. Am I making a big deal out of nothing and should just let it go? I mean I asked him nicely to do it three times and he obviously didn't and I think that what bothers me the most. Aita?
