When I grew up, cab-hailing was seen as a luxury I would only take when I'm late for school/work or if public transport is no longer available. Nowadays, my friends tend to ride grab between places even when they are not in a hurry, whether they are in Singapore or during trips overseas.

If I do not wish to waste my money in ride-hailing, AITA for suggesting that I travel separately via public transport while they can cab there?
