Our youngest son graduated last year and the party invitations are rolling in from the kids in his friend group who are graduating this year. We just got an invitation from a family we invited to our son's party last year who ghosted us at his last year. I feel awful for feeling resentful that they even sent one to us. AITAH for feeling this way?

1. We are from a small town where everyone knows everyone and the parents of the kids are either friends or friendly with each other. These kids were in extracurricular activities together so we saw each other frequently at those events in addition to a few outside of those.

2. The rest of his friends (and/or parents) from this group acknowledged his graduation by either attending the party, sent a card or texted me that they couldn't attend.

3. This isn't about feeling obligated to send a gift and I understand that it's not a legal summons.
