AITAH. I 36F have been working 2 jobs since I can remember. My first job i work as a nail tech Monday thru Thursday 9:30a to 7pm and on the weekends. On the weekends I work overnights (11p-8a) as an assistant manager for a hotel. This has been my routine for nearly 3 going on 4 years.

My nail job boss (we will call him Stan) told me I would have to start working on Sundays (10a-3p). while I don't mind having extra shifts, weekends are out of the questiin due to my overnight job,also I do mind when it comes in between my family.

I recently got married to the love of my life (call him Al) he has always stood behind my decisions 100% of the way. Through all the stress my coworker/ now ex bestie (we will call her lisa) decided 2 weeks before my wedding, that she no longer wanted to be part of my wedding causing me to stress out and find a replacement. She has caused problems now for me in the work area creating a hostel environment.

I get one day with my husband and kids (Sunday) however I usually come home and sleep so that I'm rested to spend time with them. I told my boss (Stan) that there was no way I could work as sunday and that it would be a risk to any client I may have bc of the lack of sleep. His words were you can sleep as much as you want when your dead...

The words flew out of my mouth before I could think and I told him he was crazy if he thought I was going to work an overnight shift just to come in and take clients when I could possibly hurt someone. I can't work 9 hours overnight to turn around and go into another job for 5 hours sleep deprived.

I should also add that he was doing my mothers nails at the time and she totally agreed that I could do it...so aitah if I just don't show up on the sundays?
