It's been 3 years and i haven't still told anyone that i have a boyfriend. We all went to same high school and he asked me at the end of the school. So everything began after school. My friend and i, we have been friends for 8 years.

I thought i'll wait till she gets a boyfriend but i haven't heard anything about boyfriend in her life. But i think, now i have to come out to her and tell her that i have a boyfriend and he is one from the high-school.

I am naturally very secretive and like to keep my personal life very private and he is my first boyfriend, so i had never dealt with such situations before. Plus, i come from conservative family with super strict parents, i was always worried my parents will find out, I am 22 and still haven’t told my parents as well.

I used to run like girls group of hating boys for 3 years just for funsies so this was my image in-front of my friends and was my main reason to not to tell them but now we are mature adults and i no longer stick with that ideology but still i find it hard to open up to her. I feel like she'll get heart attack if i told her i have kept secret for this long. But it'll be worse if she finds out from someone else.

Sometimes i wonder how is she never asking me if i have boyfriend or anyone, she never questions me and if it was me in her place, i would have already known. Also, she never talks about her love life and i don’t feel comfortable asking hers as well since i have some things to hide.

How do i share her this information ? Should i tell her i have just started dating him or just tell whole thing?
