I have been in a horrible custody battle that ended this January. He wrote terrible things about me on court documents and I spent thousands to defend myself and still not get a parenting plan I like. I became the visiting parent due to me running out of money to pay a lawyer and I settled in mediation. My ex has been very cruel to me for the past 2 years. I went to his mother’s funeral when we were on better terms.

I sent flowers to his dad’s visitation and sent my co parent a message of condolence. He invited me to funeral and asked if I was coming. I said I wouldn’t be able to.

I truly want nothing to do with someone who lied about me on court documents and caused me so much grief and heartache even if he is my child’s father.
