Am I the asshole? My girlfriend is a mobile barber. She gets texts from clients. She has a friend/client let's call him "John". John has tried coming onto her in text messages before and I told her I didn't feel comfortable with it. She addressed him and she said he stopped. Them I seem a message from John along if she's going to go to the movies with him. Then John messaged her and called her "Love". I told her that was inappropriate. She addressed him again. Then John messaged her one night and it just says her name. She replies, "Yes" and John says, "I just wanted to say your name." Now as far as I know she has told him that it's disrespectful and inappropriate. However last night she fights with me all night, says I shouldn't be going through her phone. However her phone was open and she got a text so I just picked it up. After fighting all night and the next morning she finally blocked him. She complains that it's just money she is losing and she can't go blocking everyone I have a problem with. I just didn't think the text was professional or respectful of our relationship. I feel that it's weird and kind of creepy. Am I the asshole?
