My birthday is coming up. All I wanted was to get my nails done which I haven’t done since 2021. No gel, no acrylics, no dip, not even paint.

I was going to pay for them but my boyfriend volunteered since we do not do anything for my birthdays since I don’t really like to celebrate. I’m low maintenance but my nails is where I like to splurge and go all out. I had a very specific set in mind but since my boyfriend is paying, he told me what he wanted.

The design was cool so I didn’t mind. However, I hate going to chop shops. When we started dating, I used to visit a chop shop by his place and they actually did amazing work. But after a while the great staff started leaving. Some guys stopped coming here because the quality wasn’t the same. I asked him a couple of times to take me to A NAIL TECH but he refuses because they charge a lot. I offered different nail salons as well who do not use MMA and other toxic chemicals and products. But no, My boyfriend brought me here for my birthday set.

Y’all….. they messed me up. I have 4 nicks and cuts on my fingers, the acrylic was laid thickly, my nails were shaped crookedly, and the charms that I got (which they didn’t have enough of anyways, I had to improvise but keep it close to the design in mind.) are crooked and placed inconsistently as well. I called my boyfriend and immediately he told me I was being ungrateful.

I deadass want to cry and go get these taken off.
